Dr. Felix Izrailev started his photography career over 40 years ago.
Starting with black-and-white photography, he later switched to
color slides, and since 1990 he works almost exclusively with color
prints. However, only recently he decided to share his work with the
public. Traveling around the world due to his profession of a physicist,
he captures the feeling of the moment in
a wide variety of settings and scenery, from Siberia to Chile and Australia.
His work can be viewed on this site under Photography
as well as on Picasa web.
His scientific research interests span many areas of physics of chaos
and complex systems, including dynamical chaos in classical and quantum
systems, random matrices, and non-linear dynamics. He is the author of over
200 scientific publications. |
